Marc Kelly is an Award Winning artist who specialises in sculptural work on a public and private capacity.

Completing his Fine Art studies in 2006 he embarked on journey of self discovery and learning through employment with quarries and within the creative industry in Ireland.

The period was extremely rewarding and this hands on approach was to thrust him into a full time career as a practicing sculptor. Today working with a variety of mediums including stone, wood, bog wood he fuses flawless technical skills with complex design revealing exciting timeless works.

Marc was not long into his career before his work came to the attention of local councils, art agents, galleries and corporate clients in Ireland, the UK and America.

Most recently in conjunction with Carrie Neely Contemporary Art in Belfast he very successfully brought a 1940’s Jameson Whiskey design to life from basic images and information. The 9ft Barrel Man sculpture now stands at one of Belfast’s most successful bars and restaurant “The Dirty Onion” located within the bustling Cathedral Quarter. The work has featured on TV, in news articles including the New York Times and stands today a unique focal feature for Jameson, The Dirty Onion and Belfast.

Further to this interviews on RTE Television, EFE News Spain, BRTV, Northern Sound Radio, BBC Radio Ulster and in the print media have propelled this young artists career to another dimension. So much so he was invited to work on set on Series 8 of Game of Thrones in Belfast for HBO. Following this successful period he again was invited back as a sculptor for HBO to work on the Game of Thrones prequel series

Away though from his busy commission commitments Kelly is currently building a new body of work for exhibition in 2021. His work has previously being exhibited and selected for such galleries as The MAC – Belfast, Titanic Centre – Belfast, The Waterfront – Belfast, Leitrim Sculpture Centre – Manorhamilton, National Botanic Gardens – Dublin, Market House – Monaghan, Market Place – Armagh
